A delightful back-to-back tour of the western Cyclades and continental Greece, led by renowned Perth photographer Nick Melidonis. After repeated Covid related delays, we finally departed in September 2022 . Focus was on the picturesque and extraordinarily neat villages with their narrow, meandering streets, brightly painted doors and windows, ancient ruins and stunning Mediterranean land- and sea-scapes. There were opportunities for character portraits of some of the elderly villagers. Wildlife was scarce but there was a plethora of Grecian cats (love 'em} that prowl the villages, ruins and restaurants. They provided never-ending amusement and opportunities for character shots. Our sincere thanks to the kindly staff at the many hotels, to our skillful bus-drivers, and to the expert and knowlegeable Nick and Eva for their kindness, organisation, advice, patience and coaching. The images, I hope, will speak for themselves.
