History
I learned to dive in 1959, initially diving inland sites (lakes, rivers, quarries and caves) in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and South Africa but later the coast of South Africa, Mocambique and even the northern Red Sea, before coming to Australia. My interests have spanned what is now called technical diving, cave and cavern diving, search and recovery and marine geology as well as photography. I am seldom seen in the water these days without a camera!
