Cenderawasih Bay 2014 - A Snorkellers View

The underwater photos were taken with a Canon S95 and the surface shots with an Olympus EPL2. The whalesharks were around a 'began' at Waroromi Bay in the south west of Cenderawasih Bay. These gentle giants came so close and were inquisitive. Though apprehensive at first, I soon realised they knew where I was snorkelling and kept their tails away from me! A marvellous experience.
